which tv would you buy? 60 inch plasma or 55 inch led or 60 inch lcd? Will I see a difference?

Question by mememe: which tv would you buy? 60 inch plasma or 55 inch led or 60 inch lcd? Will I see a difference?
I’m deciding between
1. LG 1080p 60 inch plasma with 600hz Max sub field driving, 1920×1080 resolution, 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio ($ 1258)
2. LG 60 inch LCD, full HDTV , 1920×1080 resolution, 120hz, 120,000:1 contrast ratio ($ 1642)
3. LG 55 inch LED, 1080p, trumotion 120HZ, 1920×1080 resolution, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio ($ 1466)

My brother gets a LG discount and I have the prices up there. I currently have a 50 inch 720p plasma tv now, but I notice that there is blurring during “fast sports” (like hockey, basketball, football) when the action goes back and forth. Most of my TV viewing is HD sports and HD movies, thinking about getting Blu-ray. Just got Directv and I noticed a HUGE difference on my 720p from time warner cable.

Which Tv would you recommend and why? Will I really notice a difference in the TV’s?

thanks!

Q&A: Is 120 Hz good or will 60 hz do it for a 55 inch lcd hdtv?

Question by : Is 120 Hz good or will 60 hz do it for a 55 inch lcd hdtv?

Answer by Sebastian Ross
HI

60 Hz will do fine.
You can go for the 120Hz if you like to make correction of “Blur and Judder” so you can get smoother “pan” images. (the most of the time you can´t notice between 60Hz and 120Hz)

With 120Hz movies will appear less “theatrical” (the blur and judder are normal partners of a film)

Only if your a gamer supposedly. All the 120/240 sets do is add frames into the picture. It’s called Interpolation. Most complaints about picture lag or smeared picture are fixed by turning the refresh rate off. I know me saying this will cause controversy, but the truth hurts!

Question by Joey: I just bought a Sharp LC60E78UN 60 inch LCD HDTV (1080p, 120Hz), and it has a lag. How can i fix it?
When I play video games, it has a push-button lag. In Call of Duty: Black Ops, its slow at turning, aiming, and shooting. It doesn’t do this on my other TV,that is not an LCD. What do I need to do to fix this?
