Best answer:

Answer by Martian M
The cables they give you are neither component or hdmi. They give you the cheap AV cables. This is not High def. You must put it in the slot that is AV (Red, Yellow, White). Then press the input button and move it to AV 1. To get a complete HD experience get the HDMI ($ 60.00)!!! I have a Proscan TV that is made by sony.

Question by : Help! I have a Samsung 40 inch HD tv, Samsung Blu Ray player, Comcast HD, cannot connect to Netflix.?
I followed instructions on connections including HDMI cable and component cable which came with Blu Ray. When I attempt to log onto Netflix, get message that I am not ‘connected.” How do I fix this problem??? My Comcast is HD and DVR console. Thanks!

Best answer:

Answer by Albin
I may be wrong but Netflix is a web based service. the connection problem you encounter is may be due to a internet connection faillure, not cable connection (hdmi or whatever).
have a look on your manual and dig up information about internet connection.
hope that helps

Question by : PS3 HDMI Help with Samsung 40 inch HDTV?
For Christmas I just received a 40 inch Samsung flat screen HDTV and I have a PS3. I got an HDMI cable, and connected it from the TV to the PS3. Now when I have the regular yellow, red, and white cables in, the PS3 works, but it looks pretty bad. When I try to connect the HDMI cable, a black screen and nothing else appears, and it’s really annoying. Any tips on how to make it work? Thanks!

Best answer:

Answer by bbt91945
You have to set your PS3 to output the video and audio via HDMI cable. Hope this will help you out.

Can you really tell the difference b/t 1080p and 720p in a 32″? I was looking at a Sony 1080p 32″ and have heard mixed reviews about 1080p at that screen size. Are networks broadcasting at 1080p or would it only be for blu-ray?

Best answer:

Answer by abhi18033
no it won’t be a huge difference compared to 720p at that screen size. also the only way to receive 1080 signal is from a blu ray player or ps3. networks broadcast in 1080i at best.

Question by HistoryHelp471: How many TVs should be shipped to each warehouse to minimize the cost? What is the minimum cost?
A manufacturer of HDTVs must ship at least 100 TVs to its two West Coast warehouses. Each warehouse holds a maximum of 100 TVs. Northern warehouse already has 25 TVs on hand. Southern warehouse already has 20 TVs on hand. It cost $ 12 to ship a TV to the nothern warehouse and $ 10 to ship a TV to the southern warehouse. Union rules require that at least 300 workers be hired. Shipping a TV to northern warehouse requires 4 workers, while shipping a TV to southern warehouse requires 2 workers.

Best answer:

Answer by ozywadle
From the information you give union workers do not effect cost because they do not get paid, shipping does. Ship all that you can to the southern warehouse, that would be 80 because it is cheaper and the remaining 20 to the northern warehouse. This could also be a trick question. Do HDTV manufactures make TV’s. Is the Northern warehouse one of the two on the west coast?

Answer by Jon
You get more out of HD quality when you sit farther back … you’ll be fine.

At least your not sitting 10 feet away from my 65″ hdtv ….. I was young and stupid by making that purchase.
