Question by Crazy Peace: is there any real difference between 1080p lcd tvs and hd ready without blu ray/freesat/ps3 etc.?
basically i am looking at buying a nice new shiny flatscreen tv for my bedroom around 32 inches. however i am not sure whether or not to spend my money on a a 1080p lcd, or just a hd ready one. as far as i know 1080p is obviously more pixels but i want to know it makes a difference when im only going to connect a humax hard disk drive recorder and a dvd plarer to it, no freesat or bluray. If i only attached the humax and a normal dvd player, would the picture be any different on hd ready than 1080p.
any answers would be gr8ly appreciated. btw if it helps im looking at the “Panasonic Viera TX32LZD80 LCD HD Ready 1080p Digital Television, 32 Inch”
thanks in advance

(lol i had some trouble finding how 2 reply 2 my own Q…)
anyways i was thinking much the same thing with 32″not big enough 2 be a huge problem without 1080p. However if i can get that panasonic 1080p for £550, and its going to be the pride and joy of your room, is it not worth it? 32″ 1080p panasonic for £550? what r your thought on that, and what would u guys do.
also what do u mean by picture resolution.

At 32″ you don’t need to waste your money on 1080P as you will not notice a difference from a 720P model. 46″ or higher is when you should consider 1080P, but not at 32″. Save yourself some money and go 720P!!
